- The business group incorporates Toni Oliver as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a new position in the company.
OK Mobility continues to reinforce its commitment to technological innovation within the #OKontheRoad plan, the company’s roadmap for the coming years. Technology is also joined by three other main cornerstones within this strategic plan such as geographical expansion, vertical integration and sustainability.
The company’s deep strategic transformation unifying all services under the same brand; the significant geographical expansion carried out in the last year, which places it today in 6 European countries; and the wide range of global mobility services it offers have been decisive for the company to commit to technology as the central cornerstone of its strategy, always under the sustainability premise. In this sense, OK Mobility aspires to continue taking advantage of technology and constant innovation to transform mobility in such a way that they are increasingly present in the company’s business model and in the value solutions that it provides to its customers.
Digitalisation is already a reality in many of the processes of the disruptive business model that controls fully the vehicle’s life cycle. For example, customers purchase through a completely digital process and currently 50 % of vehicle sales, once they have been through the rental stage, to individuals is totally online.
The CEO of OK Mobility, Othman Ktiri, has highlighted how “technology in the mobility sector is increasingly playing a key role because it allows us, on the one hand, to ensure the safety that users demand and, on the other, to offer personalised and on-demand mobility services, where flexibility and speed are prioritised. Precisely, OK Mobility is promoting the so called “unattended” services, which are those with which our customers can practically go through the whole rental process from their mobile device without having to interact with anyone. “
Likewise, and in line with this commitment to technology, Toni Oliver has just joined the company as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of OK Mobility Group; a new position whose main mission is precisely to evolve the IT area towards a customer-centric technological department oriented to the improvement of the business, making it a strategic area and whose duties go beyond those of supporting the rest of the departments.
“Toni Oliver’s expertise and extensive experience in the technology and innovation area,” says Ktiri, “will allow us to speed-up that digital transformation and continue to take steps in our firm commitment to become leaders in global mobility in Europe.”
Oliver has extensive experience in the technology and innovation area. In addition to leading various technological projects in the consulting sector more than 13 years, he has led the digital transformation of business processes in companies in the tourism sector such as World2Meet, where he has developed his activity during the last years as Director of Operations & Business Processes.
