OK Mobility has joined the humanitarian mission “Ukraine – you’re not alone” organized by NGO Llevant en Marxa

Via the Othman Ktiri Foundation, OK Mobility, has joined the “Ukraine – you’re not alone” charity project, promoted by the Majorcan NGO Llevant en Marxa.

Specifically, we shall offer logistical support from Majorca to the Ukrainian-Slovakian border, transporting donated food and medical products. For this, we have turned the OK Village, our logistics center in Barcelona, into a donation point for more than 25 tons of donated goods, which will be transported to the Ukrainian-Slovakian border in an OK Mobility trailer and three vans to deliver to hospitals and orphanages in the Ukrainian region of Transkarpatia.

We have also launched a food donation campaign, turning our OK headquarters into one of Majorca’s several pop-up donation points.

We are taking part in this initiative to show our support and solidarity to the people of Ukraine who are suffering as a devastating consequence of the situation provoked by the Russian invasion.

Llevant in Marxa continues with the construction of social housing in Haiti, in collaboration with the OK Foundation

The NGO Llevant in Marxa has completed the construction of the three social housing financed by the Othman Ktiri Foundation in the rural community of Onaville, located in Port-au-Prince (Haiti). An action that is part of a broader development project that the NGO has initiated in this Haitian community.

Thanks to the donation made by the Foundation, and in collaboration with OK Mobility through its Corporate Social Responsibility actions, the NGO has built new homes for families with limited economic resources who today remain homeless after the earthquake that devastated the Caribbean country in 2010.

The  Othman Ktiri Foundation materialises, once again, its commitment to the most disadvantaged communities through collaboration with Llevant in Marxa, an entity that has been coordinating humanitarian work in poor regions of America and Africa for 25 years and that has now started this new project in Haiti.

The Othman Ktiri Foundation will fund three social housing properties built by Llevant en Marxa in Haiti

The Othman Ktiri Foundation teams up with the NGO Llevant en Marxa to collaborate in the social housing construction project in the rural community of Onaville, located in Puerto Príncipe (Haiti). This initiative is part of a wider development project that the NGO is working on in this Haiti community.

After the 2010 earthquake which devastated the Caribbean country, part of its population had to relocate and settle in the outskirts of the capital of Haiti, where new rural communities developed. Llevant en Marxa started this development project in the community of Onaville with the construction of six properties for poor families who remain homeless. To qualify for accommodation in these properties, children must be educated in the community school and single mothers and families with disabled children will be given priority. The donation made by the OK Foundation, who were supported by OK Mobility Group via their Corporate Social Responsibility actions, meant that three of these properties could be funded.

One of the families to benefit is husband and wife Chrisnol Demosthene and Manoucheka Diplaicy, and their three children, Wista, Wisnel and Wanderlove. This humble family live from farming in the zone, which can be without rain for three to five months, which can cause drought and famine. With this new property, the NGO aims to help them to improve their living conditions.

The Othman Ktiri Foundation is demonstrating once again their commitment to the most vulnerable in society via the collaboration with Llevant en Marxa, a company which has spent 25 years coordinating charity projects in poor regions of America and Africa and who are now starting this new project in Haiti.
